An R8 update is available for QuickBooks 2008 Pro and Premier. Note that if you have the Automatic Update feature turned on in QuickBooks, QuickBooks may have already installed this update for you.

What is the Automatic Update feature?
1. Click Update170r8_0809177_en.exe to download the update and save it to a convenient location on your computer.
2. When the download is done, locate the file, Update170r8_0809177_en.exe, on your computer and double-click it to begin the install process.
3. When the install is done, restart your computer.
How do I know if this update installed correctly?
Press F2 to display the Product Information window in QuickBooks. If this update is installed, you'll see Release R8 or higher for QuickBooks 2008 in the Product line.
